Overall:
Wolverine vs The Punisher is a solid Fanfilm, right down from the costume design to the characters. I liked the way Cory Sosner made it a bit comic book like by the way he filmed it. Great costume design on the Punisher and Wolverine, finding a actor with that kind of hairdo is hard. What makes this movie work is that Cory Sosner looks like the Punisher, unlike the failed hollywood movie’s with Dulph Lundren and Thomas Jane. The Punisher comics are always dark and gloomy and Cory Sosner does just that, It shows that Cory Sosner is a comic book fan and not just a filmmaker…….

The fx were nice with Wolverine, the opening credits were great and the song goes with it too well. Now lets talk about Kingpin in the movie where was this guy when they were casting “Daredevil”, Wallace Carter does a fine job portraying the oversized crime boss. The Story line is just great and the action in the film is nonstop.
Bottom line :
Cory Sosner did a fine job on bringing “The Punisher” to the indie screen, I just wish hollywood would have also. I am looking forward to seeing “Punisher: Eye for an Eye” Cory Sosner’s new film. I would have loved to see a better film look for “First Round”, Cory Sosner may not have had the biggest budget for “First Round”, but one thing is always certain,… The Fan Knows Best.
