REVIEW: CLOVERFIELD

Directed by Matt Reeves
Starring Lizzy Caplan,  Jessica Lucas,  T.J. MillerMichael Stahl-David

Cloverfield is The Blair witch and Godzilla mixed together. With camera movement’s sure to make you throw up and little peeks of the monster that make’s you keep guessing, what the hell is it?  The one thing that was great about Cloverfield was not knowing what the monster looked like. I went to this movie thinking what the hell is it, 1% was saying it’s Godzilla the other 99% was saying who the hell know’s.

THE END: The ending was cut short, very short, I had flash back’s from the last episode of the Sopranos. But it was smart to end it the way they did, it make’s viewer want more at least I did for me, and after the movie made 46 million in it’s opening weekend there will be a Cloverfield 2.

Overall: This movie stuck to the monster guide line, hide the monster through out the movie and then show it at the end. The beginning of the movie is very slooowwww, it drags on too long, (I get it he’s going to Japan). If you can get past the begining it’s non stop action after that.

Final Rating: 3 stars Review: Cloverfield 2008
Prediction for Cloverfield 2: Another tape is found, and we see the day with another group of people
